Luciana Paluzzi
Luciana Paluzzi, a Italian actress, was born 10 June 1937. Perhaps she is best known for playing SPECTRE assassin Fiona Volpe in the fourth James Bond film, Thunderball, but she had important roles in notable films of the 1960s and 1970s, both in the Italian film industry and Hollywood in films like Chuka, The Green Slime, 99 Women, Black Gunn, The Klansman and The Sensuous Nurse.

Paluzzi was born in Rome and was brought up in Rome. She was the only female student in her class and went to Milan to study naval engineering.
