Gugulethu Mbatha (better known as Gugu-Mbatha-Raw) is an British actor and film actress who became famous for her role in the BBC series "Doctor Who", a British sci-fi TV show. Gugu had a massive success in this series, playing Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. Gugu was set to pursue a career in acting after her fans fell in love with her jovial personality. Gugu also has appeared in a variety of different British television and stage productions to the present. Reviewers are abuzz about her amazing performance in the British period-drama 'Belle,' (2013) as well as the romantic drama "Beyond the lights", (2014). In American productions, she has appeared on TV series like "Undercover" and "Touch" and "Touch," as well as in Tom Hanks' comedy film, Larry Crowne. Gugu was the star of Jessica Swale's 2015 play, "Nell Gwynn", in the role of an actress and mistress for King Charles II. The critics praised her performance and recommended her for the Evening Standard Theatre Award. As a great honor for her contributions to the theatre, Gugu was named a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II.
Chelsea Joy Handler is a New Jersey native born in Livingston on February 25, 1975. She was born the youngest of three children in a big family. Handler's mother was a homemaker, while her father worked as a used-car dealer. Her mother emigrated from Germany in Germany to the United States as a young woman in 1958. After more than ten years combating breast cancer, Handler died in 1989. Handler was educated in Reform Judaism by her father and grandfather, who were Jewish. Handler lived in a great neighborhood with a happy upbringing. Handler moved from the city of her birth to Los Angeles when she was 19, to pursue acting. To help support her family, Handler began to work as an actor. Handler took the decision to focus on stand-up comedy at the age of 21 after she realized the power of storytelling. The beginning of her career Handler began her stand-up profession as part of the Oxygen network all-female cast for the hidden camera/comedy reality television series Girls Behaving badly. The reality series ran from 2002 until 2005. Handler was later employed in many other shows like Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show My Wife and Kids, The Practice The Practice, and Weekends at D.L. Handler was hired for The Tonight Show as a reporter. Handler's big break came in 2006, when she began hosting her show on E! called The Chelsea Handler Show. The show ran for 2 seasons. In the following year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have been able to broadcast live stand-up shows. In 2010 she hosted the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 were revealed. With this, she became the first woman to host VMA's after Roseanne Barr.
