Gerina Michelle Mendoza Piller was born March 29, 1985. She is currently a professional golfer in America. After a long and successful career as a University of Texas El Paso collegiate golfer, she turned pro in the year 2007. Mendoza was first seen on The Big Break, the reality-TV show of Golf Channel in 2009.
Childhood and professional life
Gerina Mendoza was born in Roswell, New Mexico. She was a student at Goddard High School, where she won the State Golf Championship.
She attended the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in 2003. She was a player for the entire four years, winning four tournaments during her senior year. She was the 2007 Conference USA individual champion, Player of the Year and the UTEP Female Athletics Player of the Year.
